A good book * * * * * Five Stars

Oklahoma (7/8/2006) Hour of Consummation: God's Prophetic Calendar of
Time is one of the most intriguing books that I have read dealing with the events leading
up to the end of time as we know it. It is evident that the author, E. Richard Bridgeforth,
Sr., has spent many hours of research on this controversial topic within Christian circles.
For some people, the end time message brings fear, while those who are "born again" it
brings a sense of hope and peace that is to come. While the book, Hour of
Consummation: God's Prophetic Calendar of Time is a book that is written in today's
language it is not a book that you can just sit down and read through without some basic
understanding of scripture, but it is a book that will require you take time and study the
events as the author unfolds them. The author, E. Richard Bridgeforth, Sr., is to be
commended for his efforts in writing this book, as I am sure that this book was not easy to
write. The author has graciously prepared an accompanying workbook that helps the
reader to understand what he is trying to convey. While you may or may not agree with
everything that is taught in this book, it will at least challenge you to "search the
scriptures." If you would like to read E. Richard Bridgeforth, Sr.'s book, Hour of

Washington (10/9/2006) Whether you are a Christian or not, whether you believe
in the rapture or not, I think you will find E. Richard Bridgeforth, Sr.'s book "Hour of
the Consummation" of wonderful use in the study not only of Revelation, but of the
earlier Prophets (Daniel in particular) as well. Having read other "end times" books about
the book of Revelation, I was quite surprised and very pleased to see that Mr. Bridgeforth
has gone back to the beginning where every good story should start. Mr. Bridgeforth
explains the language, the time periods involved and the meaning of the prophesies in
everyday terms clearing away much of the confusion associated with the books of Daniel
and Revelation. Mr. Bridgeforth's explanations of the symbolism in regard to the political
situations of both Babylon and Rome (both past and future) show he has done his
homework. He has succeeded in making some of the most hard to understand parts of the
Bible decipherable, not by just scholars or serious students, but for the everyday reader
as well. He is to be commended for this accomplishment. I would highly recommend the
use of this book as a study guide and companion to reading the books of Daniel and
Revelation. Religious courses or even just Bible study groups could benefit greatly from
the use of this book.

time to do some "pleasure reading." Your book, Hour Of Consummation: God's
Prophetic Calendar Of Time, was my book of choice. I have enjoyed it very much. You
present a well researched book and back up your claims very well. (I am a fan of
research.) However, you do reiterate the same passages of scripture many times. Yet, it
is a very informative book! Thank you for your work and sharing it with us.

The Art of Asking and Receiving by E. Richard Bridgeforth, Sr. is a well
balanced book dealing with, possibly, the greatest need of the church today. While the
present state of our world, it is vital that believers know how to pray! The author uses
Scripture liberally to support the truths he sets forth. The first sentence in Chapter Two
sets the tone for the book; "Jesus is the greatest teacher of prayer." This is not just
another book about prayer but is a hard-hitting, to-the-point teaching on how anyone
can approach the Creator and receive His response.
